The Pixies

I'm still kicking myself in the head for missing their show last week in Santa Cruz, the last stop of their Lost Cities tour. Seriously.....WHERE is my mind?!!

THE LOOK: Textured, All Black

I love a classic, chic all black look. But this outfit ups the ante, with all the different textures and layers. Outfit inspo?!  I think, YES.

I'm not big on leather jackets, but this one is killer!

Eliza Rickman.

Had the chance to see singer/songwriter, Eliza Rickman, perform at The Alternative Cafe last month. What a great one woman show! She even sang a cover of "Brand New Key" by Melanie Safka that was on point. Bought her LP for a mere $5.00. But she did say that she's coming out with an album soon, so keep an eye out for her.

She actually started out as a street performer in L.A. Can't knock the hustle!

Blythe Dolls!

Shoe Craving: Vintage Western Ankle Boots.

These boots are hella cute! They'd go good with just about any outfit. In my opinion, cowboy boots are a
closet staple. Very fitting for every season out of the year and is a good alternative to the flat. I'm still deciding on which ones to buy; like a true Libra, I can't seem to make up my mind...

Its Friday, I'm in Love...

Ah, I wouldn't mind spending a day or two with Jorma Taccone... Hope everyone has a Happy Friday!

Hot Rod

Jen Lorang.

While at Indie Mart last month, I bought a brooch from Jen Lorang's jewelry line, which I've been wearing with my button up shirts and blazers. She had these awesome constellation zodiac necklaces that I totally would've copped BUT I was trying to make money, instead of spending money.  Jen Lorang also makes journals, prints, and handbags. So stop by her Etsy shop and take a look :)

her setup was great!

Marie Antoinette

If I love a film, I'm guilty of watching it numerous times. Marie Antoinette is one of those films. Directed by Sofia Coppola, she gives you a peek into the young queens' life in Versailles, leading up to the French Revolution. Bringing to light, a life of decadence, entitlement, constraints, and scrutiny, you get a feel of what she went through. I mean, what would you do if you became Dauphine of France at age 14?!

Every still shot of this film is a perfect piece of art; the architecture, the french pastries, the colours, and of course, the fashion!
